Beta expands its motocross lineup for 2026 with the introduction of two all-new RX models, joining the proven 450 RX at the top of the range. The 250 RX and 350 RX two-strokes mark a major step forward for Beta’s motocross program and bring fresh options to riders looking for lightweight, high-performance MX machines built with Beta’s trademark RideAbility.
The 450 RX has already established itself as a serious competitor, having raced on the world MXGP stage for four seasons and in AMA Supercross for the past two years. For 2026, Beta engineers in Italy decided it was time to grow the family—adding a true 250cc race bike for class-legal competition, and a powerful yet manageable 350 RX for riders wanting something different.
The all-new 250 RX is a high-revving, lightweight two-stroke built to compete directly in 250 motocross classes. Designed for aggressive riding, it delivers sharp throttle response, quick acceleration, and a unique exhaust note that stands out on the track. The engine features new crankcases, cylinder, cylinder head, and exhaust, along with a single-spark head tuned for explosive top-end performance.
The 350 RX is engineered for riders who want strong torque with a smoother, more linear delivery. Its power is easy to access, making it effective at lower speeds while still delivering the horsepower needed for racing. The dual-spark cylinder head enhances combustion efficiency, broadens the powerband, and reinforces the bike’s user-friendly character.
Both RX two-strokes feature completely new, purpose-built engines, sharing core design concepts while maintaining distinct personalities:
Cylinder, piston, and power valve systems are unique to each model, with different calibrations to match their power delivery.
Crankshafts differ by stroke, with the 250 at 72mm and the 350 at 73.6mm.
New crankcases house model-specific internals designed around each engine’s configuration.
Shared gearbox design, with final gearing optimized per model (13/50 for the 250, 13/47 for the 350).
Both models receive new exhaust systems, tuned specifically for their engines. The 350 RX features a larger internal silencer diameter to support its torque-focused delivery, while the 250 RX emphasizes quick response and high-rpm performance.
The result is a pair of motocross machines that stay true to Beta’s RideAbility philosophy—fast, capable, and confidence-inspiring—while offering riders two distinct ways to attack the track in 2026.
