250 RR Race 2-Stroke

Beta is bringing the 2026 RR Race models to riders ahead of the usual schedule. Launching earlier than the traditional October release, the new RR Race range showcases Beta’s continued focus on performance development—delivering race-ready enduro machines built to go faster, feel sharper, and stay true to Beta’s core philosophy of RideAbility.

Redesigned 250 2-Stroke Engine (RR Race)

Inspired by the updates introduced across the 2026 RR X-PRO range, the RR Race 250 2-Stroke receives a major engine redesign aimed at stronger torque and a wider, more usable powerband in every riding condition.

Key updates include:

  • Crankshaft & cylinder now shared with the 300, with revised engine dimensions to improve delivery: a shorter 69.9 mm stroke paired with a larger 67.4 mm bore to retain full 250cc displacement.

  • Reworked transfer port design and a new dedicated piston to match the updated cylinder layout.

  • All-new cylinder head, with a redesigned combustion chamber built specifically for the new engine geometry—while retaining the proven twin spark plug setup.

Twin Plug Benefits (250 & 300)

The dual-plug head brings multiple advantages:

  • More complete and consistent combustion for cleaner burn and smoother power

  • Improved torque and stronger pull across a broader rpm range

  • Added reliability: the plugs run on separate electrical circuits, allowing the bike to continue running if one plug fails (with reduced efficiency)

To support the performance gains, Beta also fitted larger, stronger main bearings for both the 250 and 300 engines, and improved handling through more centralized mass and a lower center of gravity.

Updated Gearbox Feel (250 & 300)

The 250 and 300 RR Race models also feature a longer-range second gear, improving flexibility through tight woods sections and making second and third gear riding smoother and more effective.

Proven KYB Suspension + Race Components

The RR Race models continue with Beta’s top-level suspension package and race-focused hardware:

  • 48 mm KYB AOS closed-cartridge fork with adjustable compression and rebound, plus friction-reducing internal treatments

  • KYB 46 mm shock with adjustable rebound and high/low-speed compression, known for traction, control, and consistency under hard use

  • Quick-release front axle with red anodized lever for faster wheel changes

  • Reinforced handguards for durability in rough off-road conditions

  • Machined alloy footpegs with interchangeable steel pins for grip and control

  • ZF Sprockets rear sprocket with anodized aluminum core and steel teeth for strength and reduced weight

  • Dedicated race seat with non-slip cover and document pocket

  • Race styling upgrades including racing graphics, anodized black controls, red anodized oil cap, and red alloy chain tensioners

The result is a 2026 RR Race lineup that’s more responsive, more durable, and more race-focused—while still delivering the balanced feel that makes a Beta instantly familiar the moment you start riding.
