Beta USA is expanding its Mini Adventure lineup with two all-new models for the U.S. market: the Alp 4.0 and the Alp X. Inspired by the long-running Alp platform that has been a success in Europe for more than 25 years, these updated models bring proven versatility and modern features to riders looking for a lightweight, approachable adventure motorcycle. Both models will arrive in the U.S. this June.

Designed around Beta’s core philosophy of Rideability®, the Alp 4.0 and Alp X are built to be easy, comfortable, and confidence-inspiring. A low seat height, low center of gravity, and Bosch ABS (which can be switched off when riding off-road) make both bikes well suited for short commutes, long-distance rides, and light adventure travel.

Alp 4.0 vs Alp X

Both models share the same chassis and engine package, powered by a 350cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-valve single-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed transmission, producing 35 horsepower. The engine is designed for durability and long service life, making it ideal for high-mileage use.

• Alp 4.0: The more off-road-oriented version, featuring an 18/21-inch wheel setup for better performance on trails and rough terrain.

• Alp X: A more urban-focused model with 17/19-inch wheels and sleeker bodywork, ideal for riders who want a stylish daily bike that can still handle dirt roads and trails.

What truly sets the Alp models apart is their balance. Unlike many adventure bikes that feel tall and top-heavy off-road, the Alp lineup delivers a true 50/50 on-road/off-road riding experience.
