Beta expands the RX motocross lineup for 2026 with the addition of two all-new two-stroke models, joining the proven 450 RX at the top of the range. The new 250 RX and 350 RX bring fresh energy to the lineup, giving riders more options built around Beta’s core philosophy of RideAbility—performance that’s powerful, balanced, and easier to ride.
The 450 RX has already proven itself on the world stage, competing for four seasons in MXGP and two years in AMA Supercross. That racing success shaped the next step forward for Beta, as Italian engineers decided to “go big” for 2026—adding a class-legal 250 RX for racers and a torque-rich 350 RX for riders looking for something different.
For 2026, the 450 RX receives key engine updates focused on stronger performance with improved control. A new cylinder head with revised intake flow, paired with a matched intake manifold and updated exhaust system, delivers increased power while keeping sound levels in check. Revised engine mapping ensures smooth response across the rpm range.
A redesigned counterbalance shaft reduces vibration, improving comfort and reducing rider fatigue during long motos. The result is a bike that remains quick-turning and stable, with power suited for top-level racers while staying manageable for amateur riders.
Development of the 450cc engine focused on improving usable torque and overall efficiency:
Reworked cylinder head, developed using CFD analysis and flow-bench testing, improves airflow and combustion efficiency
New intake manifold with a longer internal horn enhances pressure-wave tuning for better cylinder filling
Updated piston coatings reduce friction and improve durability
Revised exhaust system, developed with HGS, increases flow while meeting modern noise regulations
Updated ECU mapping improves starting, throttle response, and limiter behavior
